I serve as the Logan County Fair Queen Pageant director: scheduling and organizing the Fair Queen Pageant practices, paper work, pageant production, state pageant preparation, escorting events, parent interaction, scheduling appearances, and stage decoration at the Logan County Fair.

My favorite feature of this job allows me to work with the public in a unique way. I get to prepare and deliver a presentation to the election judges that trains them for election day. Normally, it takes about four months to organize an election. From start to finish - I love it all.- Serve as the Part-Time Supervisor: overseeing, hiring, scheduling, timesheets, creating duties, checking completed work, and going over employee contracts- Decorate and host the 2014 Logan County Courthouse Christmas Party- Organize, schedule, decorate, invite, and host the 2015 Past & Present Logan County Elected Officials Dinner Party- Serve as the Office Events Coordinator for Birthdays, Boss’s Day, Graduation parties, Retirement parties, and Office Professionals Day- Prepare marriage licenses, birth records, and death records- Assist in searches for deeds, mortgages, recordings, and genealogy- Register voters and work alongside all county elections- Assist in the recording of county deeds- Create programs to teach to surrounding 4th grade classes on the importance and process of elections

The best part of this job was assisting in coordination of the University event decoration. There was a giant closet full of decorations that we could access and pick anything we wanted to use. It was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to work with other students and employees to bring an event to fruition.- Wrote press releases for local newspapers, radio stations, University webpage, and campus information letters- Proofread the University website: found corrections, made suggestions, and thought of strategic ways to equip the site for a user-friendly interface- Found local vendors to work alongside University Advancement to promote Lincoln Christian University in the community- Helped decorate for Lincoln Christian University campus events

In August of 2010, I was crowned the 2010 Miss Logan County Fair Queen. This experience enriched me with public speaking, community involvement, and organizational skills through participating in over 65 county wide events.In 2011, I organized and hosted Cookies at the Castle, an outreach for young girls to show their inner sparkle and meeting girls their age from around Logan County.
