An award winning 40 bed, non-profit assisted living home providing care to residents requiring all ranges of assistance and needs.; Transitioned a staff of thirteen and the home from a facility experiencing negatively based management and a diminishing census, to a successful, growing business.Bolstered marketing, networking and community involvement in an effort to increase census resulting in a 250% rise in inquiry rate and more than doubling the home's census by 2011.Managed and maintained all aspects of the home's financial status as well as an overall budget in excess of $100,000 across multiple departments within the organization.Compile resident and employee files along with other necessary documentation within the home to prepare for state, health department and fire safety inspections.Leveraged Saginaw Valley State University's graduate studies program to institute a working relationship with occupational therapy students, amplifying weekly resident activities.Increased church involvement within the home by arranging for area churches and corporate Chaplain to provide weekly bible study, communion and/or services and monthly hymnals.Coordinated and hosted American Red Cross and MI Blood sponsored blood drive to gain exposure for Stone Crest as well as positively impact the local community and state as a whole.Orchestrated several fundraising events for Stone Crest, raising in excess of $2,000.00 for the first year.Motivated staff members by launching an employee incentive program to instill a more encouraging, productive work environment and a more inviting atmosphere.
