As Head of Skill Policy at Logistics UK, I spearhead the skills policy theme, devising and implementing strategies to advance our objectives across all logistics transport modes. My role involves cultivating a deep understanding of policy areas, proactively monitoring trends, and briefing colleagues to foster collaborative efforts. I lead the creation of impactful policy proposals and position statements, shaping discourse with government officials and sector stakeholders. My responsibilities also include producing high-quality reports and presentations, engaging on media relations, and supporting member engagement initiatives. At Generation Logistics, I lead a cross-functional and inter-company team to foster strategic relationships and programme development and steer stakeholder engagement initiatives with significant entities such as the Departments for Transport (DfT), Education (DfE), Work and Pensions (DWP), and Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE), alongside over 50 sponsors and partners.Below listed are a few of my key achievements:• Spearheaded the Generation Logistics campaign, a major initiative to increase the visibility of the logistics profession, resulting in over 822m opportunities opportunities to see (against a target of 600m), 789,000 website visits (against a target of 600,000) and 3.7m+ social content engagement in the first year• Secured substantial sponsorship exceeding £900,000 for programme's second year through fundraising and resource allocation skills• Lead the education vertical by collaborating with the Careers and Enterprise Company, National Careers Service, and STEM Learning to elevate the logistics field • Cultivated partnerships with over 50 sector-based sponsors and partners and the Department for Transport (DfT), ensuring robust financial support and programme sustainability• Managed stakeholders, including trade associations, FTSE 100 companies, and government departments.• Cultivated a robust sponsorship base by implementing targeted relationship management strategies.

As Director of Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management, I direct 13-person team across five departments, focusing on enhancing community sector engagement through Nations, Regions, Forums, national events, and charitable programmes like ASPIRE, NOVUS, and Generation Logistics.
