Beth Walters joined Jabil in 1992 when there were ~2,000 employees and the company’s revenues were $175 million. She built the communications function from the ground up and took on Investor Relations responsibilities when the company went public in 1993 and helped to lead Jabil’s Initial Public Offering. She developed Jabil’s foundational Investor Relations strategy. Jabil’s Chief Financial Officer says, “When it comes to Jabil investor relations, Beth wrote the book!” An award-winning IR professional, Beth was voted Best IR in the IT Hardware category by the Buy Side Analysts of the Institutional Investor 2015 poll.Jabil career highlights include: developing an award-winning global best-practices program (CEO Mark Mondello, describes as the backbone of Jabil's culture); creating a diversity–awareness program, Jabil Joules (http://jabiljoules.com/) to educate, mentor and facilitate gender diversity in the workplace; and a global employee recognition program which generates 90% global participation each quarter.Today Jabil has over 200,000 employees and revenues around $25 billion. Beth’s responsibilities have evolved significantly. She spent much of her time with investors, analysts and shareholders as well as furthering the Jabil brand through strategic internal and external communications programs and activities. She successfully created and lead global programs and initiatives that have helped maintain a strong company culture and positioned Jabil as a thought leader in the marketplace.Outside of work, Beth is active in numerous community activities, including serving on the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Heroes Selection Committee; Board of St. Pete's Promise (Pinellas Education Fund); Tampa Bay's American Heart Association Cabinet; Manufacturing Institute's STEP Advisory Board and CEB Advisory Board.
