Beth has been a business owner in Greater Kansas City for more than 20 years. She recently sold her successful accounting business in order to concentrate on residential redevelopment. Her passion is to assist people who are in a tight spot and need to get out of their houses...those who may need a second chance, for whatever reason.

My current duties include publishing a bi-monthly newsletter, e-mail blasts, direct mail, making the community aware of our events through advertising (print and on-line), keeping the organization current on social networks, and frequently updating our website.

This is one of the best groups of women I have ever met! They are warm, accepting and giving of their time and resources. I am honored that they allow me to be a part of the group.

This group provides a leadership seminar for select sophomores from area high schools. I am thrilled to be donating my time and support as Secretary for the Executive Board.

This is a group for kids between the ages of 6 and 18. The kids participate in monthly meetings and several community service projects. As Co-sponsor, I support the kids and the adult leaders in a variety of ways, including: Treasurer support, providing food and rides, chaperoning, etc.

As a part time staff accountant, my duties included producing financial statements; tracking sales, payables, receivables and inventory; payroll and sales taxes for a part-time caseload of approximately 10 monthly and 3 quarterly write-up accounting clients, including 4 not-for-profit clients.

High end interior design - but all I did was accounting. Do not ask me how to decorate your homes or even to match colors! • I was responsible for organizing, directing and controlling of all accounting work; summarizing and interpreting financial data for the use of management, creditors, and taxing authorities; developing forecasts for proposed projects of the organization; measuring of actual performance against operating plans and standards and interpreting the results of operations for management.
