I use Pro-Law to research, collect and summarize consumer complaint data for between 400 and 900 phone numbers per month searching for potential violations of the Colorado No-Call List Act. I enter about 15 weekly incoming web and email no-call complaints into eBINDr and generate appropriate consumer correspondence. I respond to incoming telephone calls on behalf of the call center answering 40 to 60 calls per week helping fellow Coloradans file fraud reports. I also assist walk-in consumers with filing complaints.

I worked for the City and County of Denver as an NCIC agent in the Denver Police Department where I had the opportunity to serve the public by entering and removing stolen motor vehicles from the National and Colorado Criminal Information databases. I enjoyed being able to let someone know that their vehicle had been recovered. They were usually very, appreciative and enthusiastic in their response. I took pride in being able to support our officers and other law enforcement. The job included transcribing police reports and scanning documents into the database. Officers would often call or stop by and ask for help with finding some information. Other law enforcement would contact us to get Denver's arrest information on a person they had in custody. I found satisfaction in being able to serve both our internal and external customers in a timely manner. I always felt gratified if I could give someone information or help them resolve a problem and I could hear the anxiousness leave their voice. I knew that I had really helped someone.

I worked at Product Development Corporation, a company that uses proprietary software to create delivery list for clients involved with directory distribution. In order to create lists, I manipulated our client's private data by running it through numerous programs to create an end product in a timely fashion. I printed the lists and shipped them out to field supervisors to be used to get the phone books delivered according to contract.Being at the end of a long series of processes, it was not always easy to meet the final deadline. There were times that I took it upon myself to work all day, all night, and all the next day to be sure that I could get get product to the field on time. I took great pride in my ability to do this to prevent my company from incurring a huge fine if I didn't deliver. It was this quiet focus on mundane details that lead to my success and a personal acknowledgement from the CEO that I had personally made him successful.
