CurrentProspected, reopened and developed private piano studio in fall of 2010.Organize teaching schedules, lesson plans, curricula and recitals.Regularly receive requests for piano study and referrals from students, thereby maintaining a full studio. Proven ability to developed talent and maintain students long-term. Develop strong, ongoing relationships with parents and students. Regularly attend conferences, workshops and perform research to improve piano teaching skills.In addition to the above position, have taught piano for many years since college to children and adults in a variety of settings including schools, churches and private studios.Experienced in solo performance, ensemble playing and accompanying for vocalists, instrumentalists, choirs and church worship. Have also led worship in various church settings.In addition to piano, received instruction in harpsichord and organ. Independently studied jazz improvisation, songwriting and synthesis after obtaining music degree. Studied voice for 3 years with private instructors at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, the Willow Creek Arts Center in South Barrington, Illinois and in Lakenheath, England.
