I currently work in the Chicago Office on the organization, planning, and recruitment team. I started off in the Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) while going to school full time. I was converted after I graduated in December 2007. So far my experience in the Government has been fulfilling but I have not applied alot of what I learned in school to my job. With the new administration there are more changes to come.

Assisted customers in the Kitchens Department. Helped design kitchen layouts on the IKEA kitchen program.

I started off as a Caregiver where I visited homes of the elderly and assisted them in the daily activities of living. After a while I moved full time into the office where I was responsible for scheduling all of the caregivers, recruiting new caregivers, and going into homes and assessing whether or not our services were a good fit. I also coordinated monthly meetings with the caregivers to conduct training and allow us to socialize with one another.
