I am a passionate Environmental Science professional with a wide range of experience in Biodiversity Conservation, Environmental and Ecosystem Management, Fire Management and Sustainability. My team mates and colleagues know me as a hardworking individual, focused on effectively completing tasks individually and as part of a team throughout my roles as Fire Policy and Projects Officer, Nature Activity Officer, Conservation Employee and Operator In Charge. My key achievements in areas of interest include:-> Conservation, Management and Sustainability I have studied Environmental Management and Sustainability (Major) and Ecosystem Management (Minor) at Murdoch University. This degree has taught many interesting topics; ecological management, policy, indigenous fire practices, biology and Australian biodiversity which I will use to work toward sustaining our resources.-> Fire Management During my employment with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, I have gained knowledge of environmental-related policy, effective mosaic prescribed burning techniques, bushfire suppression and mapping fires. -> Leadership within a team environmentEmployed as ‘Operator In Charge’ at CBH gave me the skills to promote open communication, work effectively within a team and become a personable and inclusive individual.
