- Lead Global Mobility function for Baxter's global expatriates, permanent transfers, short term assignments, commuters and development programs (approximately 250-300 cases per year)- Develop compensation packages for mobile employees of all levels (including executives) moving between 30+ countries.- Support and educate employees, business leaders, and HR leaders in areas of expatriate compensation, international taxation, immigration, relocation, and other assignment related benefits.- Develop and enforce Global Mobility and U.S. Immigration policies.- Manage U.S. Immigration program for US based employees, including H-1B, L-1, TN, J-1, and O-1 non-immigrant visas and employment based permanent residency petitions.- Manage all Global Mobility vendors relationships, including relocation, immigration, and international tax.- Lead special HR projects, as needed.

- Partnered with both managers and employees to ensure policy and procedure compliance, achieve employee engagement, and maintain a strong corporate culture- Conducted over 300 stay interviews and 150 New Hire Touchbases in department initiative that impacted 89% IT retention.- Facilitated over 350 hrs of IT Essentials (New Hire Program), Compensation Overviews, Benefit Updates, Harassment Prevention, Change Management, and Intern Essentials training to employees- Created ‘Backpack to Briefcase’ program to guide IT Interns on successful transition from student to employee. - Maintain work authorization for 120 foreign nationals from multiple countries under time sensitive deadlines- Facilitate permanent residency process for 85 employees by providing overviews and proper documentation under the direction of attorney- Created an advanced database in Microsoft Access to track foreign national status, visa expiration dates, and I-9 re-verification periods- Created formal IT Immigration policy outlining eligibility criteria and established preferred attorney to communicate to managers and employees. - Managed daily flow of confidential employee information updates into PeopleSoft and reported to Senior Management.- Responded to employee inquiries on Benefits, Payroll, Retirement, Life Changing Events and other personnel issues- Implemented WorkBrain: Time and Attendance tracking program for all non-exempt and exempt employees by providing job aids, one-on-one training and daily support.
