Consultant - Senior DeveloperEntergy Nuclear River Bend Power Station Oct 1999 - Oct 2000Lead developer - worked to help transition and find solutions to modify aging software and communications technology and software development practices into safe, reliable and accurate systems per NUSMG (now NITSL) requirements and federal policies. Much of the work performed were to ensure a safe transition into the year 2000. This work also extended to several other Nuclear Power stations including Grand Gulf Nuclear, Waterford Nuclear and ANO Power facilities. Extensive travelling and multiple project management duties requiring efficient turn-around of mission critical environments and safety concerns.Technologies involved in this position varied widely between Oracle 7x on Solaris OS to CPM/3 (German) to 8086 and 8088 small brain processors and EPROM coding. Visual Basic, Access + Excel Automation, PowerBuilder and Delphi were also involved as well as class C++ programming methodolgies.

Of Revenue where we rewrote a COBOL2 system into VB for the Electronic Transmission of Tax payments.
