Working with non-profit organizations to help them connect better with their supporters via the internet.

Designed, drafted, and built models as a member of design teams for acclaimed 100-bed Greenhouse nursing home, university library renovations, and a college residence hall. Participated in multiple phases of project execution through design and construction. Performed on-site Construction Administration tasks for 240-unit luxury Senior Living facility. Gained skills and confidence with computer drafting, design, and rendering programs, and instructed others in these programs with tutorials, group workshops, and individual training.

Conducted weekly lab classes for “Building Construction” course in which I introduced students to basic construction elements through group projects and hands-on demonstrations. Structured and moderated weekly discussion sections for “Human Context of Design” course to encourage students to understand how humans inhabit space and how to appreciate spatial relationships.

(summers) Directed a team of 6 crew members in running all aspects of a backcountry lodging facility in high mountain locations. Trained and supervised crew members in hospitality, food preparation, and maintaining building systems (solar panels, composting toilets, graywater treatment). Presented educational programs and entertainment to guests. Prepared, served, and cleared meals for up to 50 visitors per day.
