Data analysis, process improvement

Business Operations is responsible for the functions of supporting and servicing our clients as well as internal workflows pertaining to business solutions through product development and maintenance, and project deliverables. This includes oversight and planning of product enhancement timelines and continuance of existing solutions to ensure accurate client deliverables. The Managercollaborates with other leaders to assure efficient processes are developed resulting in a positive impact on the company’s operational experience.

I am proud to lead of team of data analysts who perform extraordinary work on a daily basis. The RCS Data Analytics team ensures data validity and quality, provide insights into our functional areas, and provide interactive, on demand reporting/visualizations that meet the needs of our leadership.

I am privileged to lead an Instructional Design team, a Process Improvement team, and an Education team for the Novant Health Revenue Cycle. We work with various groups across the enterprise to ensure our team members have the most up to date training and support. Educational analytics help us focus our endeavors as we provide the dynamic training necessary in healthcare. The team uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to refine our training programs - programs which include instructor led classes, computer based learning, one-on-one support, and other learning modalities depending on the educational need.

I created the Assessment Department for the J. Murrey Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte. The team provides a holistic approach that includes quantitative and qualitative research for the institution. We work with library and campus partners to explore the library's impact on students and faculty. The team offers consultations on assessment research methods, usability studies, and data visualization.

I managed the Circulation, Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery, and Stacks Maintenance department for the Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte. I also plan, implement and analyze various assessment projects across the library and at the intersection of the library and the institution.

I managed the distance education program for the UNCG LIS program. I explored online pedagogies and technologies that enhanced our program as well as recruiting and marketing activities. I also teach in the program such classes as Virtual Communities, Social Media use in Information Agencies and Information Literacy.

I evaluated new technologies for students and faculty as well as teaching classes.

I worked with information security to communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.
