o Led the Sustainable Seafood Markets Campaign, which convinced top U.S. retailers to significantly improve their seafood procurement policies and leverage their influence on regulators to improve fisheries management.o Managed two Bering Sea Campaign expeditions involving Alaska Native community outreach and ship-based scientific research to pressure regulators to protect critical ocean habitats. Highlights included visits with 17 Alaska Native communities to strategize on the creation of Marine Cultural Heritage Zones and, in collaboration with NOAA scientists, the discovery of a new species of sponge, Aaptos kanuux.o Led the Save the Whales Campaign to get Gorton’s of Gloucester to sever ties with Japanese whaling. The campaign won an award for integrated supporter engagement and multi-channel fundraising.

o Coordinated the national Campaign for a New Foreign Policy and Peace Voter 2004 in collaboration with Peace Action’s Affiliate Network of more than 100 regional, state and local grassroots groups. o Coached Affiliate Network members and National Student Organizers on campaign strategy and organizational development. o Represented the organization in national coalition efforts to end the war in Iraq.

o Established the Regional Actions Coordinator role responsible for the Great Lakes, Mississippi River, and Gulf Coast region. Designed and established the national Actions Campaigner role.o Contributed to strategic planning for Greenpeace U.S.’s Toxics, Climate and Energy, Forests, and Oceans campaigns, and Greenpeace International’s Genetic Engineering (GE) Campaign. o Led the strategic planning and launch of U.S.-based GE work, which included building relationships with sustainable agriculture and family farm organizations.o Conceptualized, planned, and delivered a wide variety of trainings and public engagement events and tours.
