• Launched a new initiative to advance leadership, organizational impact, and innovation in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
• Managed a 6-person team and $1.3M portfolio of learning, leadership and innovation programs
• Established New Ideas @ OSD, a TED-like partnership with the Aspen Institute to spark new thinking in the Pentagon; designed conversational mash-ups between Pentagon leaders and “outside thinkers,” including Nobel.
• Co-founded the Federal Innovators Network to support change-makers across the U.S. government

• Lead DoD strategist on a global initiative to stop trafficking in weapons of mass destruction
• Served in Afghanistan as Special Assistant to the Commanding General of U.S. and coalition forces
• Selected as a U.S. Presidential Management Fellow (<10% selection rate), a flagship leadership development program for entry-level civil servants in the federal government. Completed short-term assignments in program.

Managed public relations and redesigned this start-up's website, resulting in the acquisition of American Express Educational Loans

Formed social marketing alliances between this e-government start-up and 2 civic organizations; established a community tech center with the New Orleans Mayor's Office.
