I was the kid with Seventeen and People magazine clippings lining my bulletin board; the one on my high school yearbook staff who always fought for the best beats to cover; and, the one who (still) melts at the sound of that iconic trumpet opening to NBC Nightly News. I’ve always been mesmerized with words and media. I took that obsession with me to the University of Georgia as a Journalism graduate (go Dawgs!), to New York City working in the book business, to Los Angeles working in television, and to Nashville working in a variety of communications positions.I have over two decades of communications and marketing experience working inside of today’s premier companies including Random House Inc., The Walt Disney Company, ABC-TV, OWN:The Oprah Winfrey Network, and Marriott International.
