Hired by GETCO in 2007, the innovator in global electronic trading, I oversaw the Human Resources function day-to-day operations, and with my Leader, set HR strategy in this dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure work environment. Over the course of my tenure with GETCO, we grew our HR Team to 22 people globally and created a best-in-class work experience for our employees through our programs, benefits, communications, and focus on leading from the values of the organization. I created, led, and implemented the shift from a PEO relationship to selecting and implementing premier benefits, technology, and workplace programs that best served the organization and associates. Driven by core values and a philosophy of respect and care for every associate in the company, GETCO continued to attract and retrain top talent until they reorganized in mid-2013 after acquiring Knight Capital Group, reforming in July 2013 as KCG. From June 2012 through January 2013, I acted as Interim Global Head of Human Resources to oversee and lead our HR Team and function until our new CHRO was selected and hired. From January 2013 until leaving in August 2013, my focus was the integration of our culture, systems and management and retention of associates as we acquired and merged with Knight Capital Group, effective July 1, 2013.
