Arch 310 - Fundamentals of Architectural Design I

Part-time design work while raising kids and studying for my Architectural Registration Exams.Select Projects include: --Portage Residence, New Construction--Bathroom Remodel, Interior Renderings/Material Consultation--Bay View Residence, Kitchen Remodel--East Side Apartments, Existing Documentation & TI proposal --Bay View Residence, Master Bath Addition & Remodel

Contract work with DBA as needed for project realization and completion. Tasks include site documentation, conceptual renderings, and construction documents. Select Projects include: --Bay View Residence, Addition & Remodel--6th & National Historic Storefront Renovation--Revere's Restaurant Bar, Remodel

Tasks included architectural programming and construction documents; image production for in-house and client marketing. Select projects include: --MATC South Campus Cyber Cafe, TI--Shorewest Office Lobby Renovation, Conceptual Renderings--Private Residence Feature Wall Renderings

Assisting the staff of the City Clerk's Historic Preservation office with design proposals for historic neighborhoods. Tasks include hand drafting and CAD, data collection and analysis, and presentation formatting.

Assisting with the design and creation of publication materials for the School of Architecture and Urban Planning. Occasional help with the school Resource Center; helping students identify and locate research materials.

I work directly with students who have special needs/ behavior challenges. Everyday is different, potentially exhausting, but incredibly rewarding.

I signed up to be on SiGBA's Events Committee as soon as I was made aware of the organization. I was tasked with the creation and distribution of a monthly newsletter, along with assisting to organize and set-up events; ranging from Home Tours, to monthly ‘Speaker Series’, workshops, Member’s Mixers, and expos.
