Heirloom Family Office is the private investment and philanthropic office of my husband and myself.Our investment office invests on macro-thematic principals, investing passively and with domain experts, as well as occasionally actively incubating companies or opportunities that we have a USP in building. Heirloom Investment Management LLC An investment management firm via which other families are able to co-invest with us in certain of our investment endeavours. Founded and managed Thrive By Design, a consulting company specializing in operational implementation, strategic design and communications, with sectoral focus on opportunities related to the aging demographic and family offices/wealth management.

Served as the Ministers’ most senior advisor and representative and oversaw all aspects of the Minister’s Office including strategic planning, policy development and implementation, project management, stakeholder relations, operations, budgeting, and human resources. - Delivered important yet contentious initiatives such as Ontario’s sales tax reform legislation and played a lead role in developing the government’s Budget which included expense allocations and overseeing deal negotiations and agreement ratifications.- Developed and managed the services transformation process to ensure the sustainability of public services, removing hundreds of millions from the budget, with collaboration from internal and external stakeholders, and minimal negative impact on the community.- Using data analysis, project planning and extensive stakeholder management, oversaw the new human rights law implementation, the largest system transformation in 50 years.- Established an organization structure and hired and developed a nine-person team to support a newly appointed Minister and successfully launched four new initiatives crucial to the government’s mandate within the first year.

Key member of strategy team and managed daily outreach efforts of Michael Ignatieff, who was ultimately the Liberal Party candidate for Prime Minister in the 2008 Federal Election. - Oversaw a six-person outreach team that secured more ex-officio support for Michael Ignatieff than any other candidate through implementing an outreach and tracking structure that ensured delegates received frequent support and built the campaign brand.- Supported Campaign Director in executing the campaign including undertaking special projects, facilitating communication and ensuring team follow-up on assignments.

Conducted in-depth research and analysis to develop legal strategy, drafted client documents and prepared memos in the areas of employment, privacy and general corporate and securities law. - Drafted agreements, contracts, memos and correspondence for legal partners and clients to facilitate upcoming deals, motions, examinations for discovery and trials. - Researched and prepared memos and opinions on regulatory compliance, public and private sector issues, employee relations and company policies, assessing risks and providing alternatives and recommendations to achieve meaningful resolutions.
