• Led first statewide NJ Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative resulting in the opening of New Jersey’s first 4 designated baby friendly hospitals in a five year period and an 11% increase in exclusive breastfeeding rates in.
• Conducted a department quality improvement project to continue and improve the work with all NJ maternity hospital systems designed for better health for mothers and babies. We designed and administered a telephone.
• Managed production of The New Jersey Obesity Prevention Action Plan-June 2006 which was presented to and accepted by the Governor and Legislature and resulted in the creation of the Office of Nutrition & Fitness.
• Grew a public/private partnership to hundreds of ShapingNJ partner organizations creating a movement for change.
