·Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of CAWC’s three outreach programs located off site and provide clinical support and supervision to counselors located at each site. ·Organize and facilitate trainings and outreach initiatives at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Northwestern Prentice Hospital, Haymarket Center, and other area health care facilities, to improve the understanding of domestic violence and how to best screen their patients. ·Assist in the preparation of writing of grant proposals to maintain funding for CAWC’s outreach programs and compile monthly, quarterly, and yearly program reports. Ensure timely submissions to funders and guarantee services are meeting the needs of our clients and CAWC’s mission. ·Provide comprehensive training to new staff, as well as ongoing staff development and education.

·Train new team of Therapeutic Respite Providers who spend 15 hours per month with Enhanced Stabilization clients, in their home and communities. Training consists of trauma-informed interventions, utilizing Daniel Hughes’ PACE (Playful, Accepting, Curious, and Empathetic) model and Margret Bluestein’s Affect Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC).·Supervise Therapeutic Respite Providers via bi-weekly individual supervision and monthly group supervision. ·Guide Enhanced Stabilization Consultants on their cases and co-facilitate Enhanced Stabilization team meetings.·Continue with all responsibilities as an Enhanced Stabilization Consultant.

·Pilot a test program for the Department of Children and Family Services in Illinois to reduce recidivism of youth in care (children in DCFS custody) in psychiatric hospitals, reduce youth remaining in hospital settings beyond medical necessity, and ensure stability in foster placements after discharge. ·Provide clinical consultation to DCFS and private agency caseworkers and supervisors to best meet their client’s mental health and psychiatric service needs.·Recommend appropriate evidence-based therapeutic resources for youth in care and advocate to receive funding to obtain these services, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Theraplay. Ensure youth in care are connected with outpatient psychiatric resources after discharge from inpatient hospital settings.·Investigate procedures and identify barriers for clients in obtaining psychotropic medication after being prescribed and teach other professionals the steps to ensure their clients are able to obtain their medication in a timely manner.·Facilitate monthly Child and Family Team meetings for the youth, foster parent, caseworker and professional team to ensure all the family’s needs are being met in a timely manner and model appropriate ways to facilitate clinical meetings for other professionals.·Administer direct services to licensed and relative foster parents by providing psycho-education sessions on how trauma affects the brain, understanding mental health needs, therapeutic parenting support, and PACE parenting model and Affect Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC), to help foster parents respond appropriately and keep youth with acute mental health needs in their home.·Provide family therapy sessions to youth and their foster families when needed. ·Establish brand-new documentation, timelines, child and family team meeting structure, and requirements for the pilot program while in its testing phase.

The Intensive Placement Stabilization program is a community-based program designed to support children in foster care who need additional intensive, individualized services to remain stable in their foster care placement. Provide direct services to children are living in traditional or home of relative foster care, who may have behavioral or emotional challenges that threaten to disrupt their placement. Intensive Placement Stabilization provides crisis response and intervention 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for children living in designated communities in the Chicago metropolitan area.
