Digital & Social Media Officer
CurrentWithin my role as the Digital & Social Media Officer, I am primarily responsible for managing the organisation’s visibility online by developing and implementing their social media strategy. This role involves overseeing, planning and delivering content across different platforms and using scheduling tools such as Adobe, Later & SocialPilot to utilise my time effectively. In addition to this, I assist with internal communications and formulate a quarterly newsletter for both the charity and the enterprise, Thrive Group Wales. As this role is within the domestic abuse and violence against women sector, I use my prior knowledge and experience to provide a safe and accessible space online for any service users, survivors and/or supporters.
Digital & Social Media Assistant
Within this role at Thrive Women’s Aid and Thrive Group Wales, my key responsibilities included:- Social media content creation - Scheduling content - Liaising with both colleagues and external organisations to promote services and encourage collaboration - Working on campaigns to boost awareness and donations for the charityBy completing my work, I am increasing the charity’s exposure and digital presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook & TikTok as well as networking with likeminded organisations.
