I'm a sales professional who was fortunate enough to be taught early on in my career that success will come if you remember 2 simple characteristics: be friendly and be helpful. It doesn’t matter the industry you work in, the types of products you sell, the service you offer or the demographic you target – this simple concept applies to all. Personally I don’t have to have all the answers but knowing who to reach out to is key!
