I am a company director and business executive with more than 40 years’ experience in management at C-level and board positions in Australia, the UK and Asia. Working across a number of industry sectors including hospitality, tourism, manufacturing and retail, I have held positions as diverse as CEO, VP Australasia for the world’s largest Removal and Relocation Company, Human Resources Manager Victoria for a major not-for-profit and Business Development Manager and Corporate Consultant at KPMG Melbourne. I established Centaur Business Networks, my consulting business 13 years ago consulting to more than 65 clients across a range of industry sectors.Prior to my corporate positions, I spent 20 years in my own businesses which included a game park and castle in Scotland, yachting marina, tourism destination businesses in Queensland and Devon, UK, marine charters in Malaysia and a housing development in Tasmania.My board and Chair positions in Australia and overseas range across a range of industries (both private and public) and a variety of sectors including Transport and Logistics, Tourism, Human Resources, Telecommunications, Government, Not-For-Profit and Education. I have chaired numerous committees including audit, marketing and risk. I am a Fellow of each of the AICD, the Australian Institute of Management and Leaders and the Governance Institute of Australia and a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course and Mastering the Boardroom.I currently consult to boards on governance and reviews, businesses on profitability improvement, strategy, senior executive mentoring and preparing businesses for sale. I am a key note speaker on business and women's issues.
