I see the relationship between the therapist and client as the most exciting part of this work. I think of therapy as a process that is shared as partners, much like fellow travelers on a path together. In the therapy space, I meet clients with presence and curiosity, and I frequently check in with clients on how they are experiencing the process. I’m open to adjusting the therapeutic approach based on what works best for my clients. I believe the work in therapy involves a delicate balance of looking at what happened in the past and how this impacts the present, which results in integration and growth.I have previous experience working with clients who have navigated intergenerational trauma, relationship difficulties, and depression and anxiety. I have a special interest in working with individuals whose family members struggle (and/or have struggled) with substance use, addiction, and attachment wounds. Other interests include: Women who have chosen to be child-free, artists, and clients who are changing careers.
