Aircraft Fuel Systems Technician (AFSC 2A6X4/2A674) 1986-1999 Duties included inspecting, repairing, and testing fuel systems on F-4s and F-16s along with supervising, inspecting, and evaluating the activities performed by lower ranking airmen. I also received specialty training for a position created during Desert Storm, informally referred to as Drop Tank Buildup Supervisor. Responsibilities included skill assessment of airmen for assembly line placement along with supervision of all tasks and inspection of final product. Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) and Human Relations Education (HRE) (AFSC 3S1X1/3S131) 1999-2001 Along with assisting to resolve situations that impacted operations and mission effectiveness, drug testing also fell under the scope of MEO at my unit. I developed a random selection drug testing and documentation program to replace a non-Y2K compliant system. Specifications included security and privacy protocols such as implementing network security for user authorization, and tracking specimen chain of custody. I also revised the specimen collection procedures to reduce the time testees were removed from their job responsibilities.
