As I rebuilt my own client base, I searched for and hired my replacement at SCORCH, and continued to serve as part of the team, offering content strategy and writing to clients including Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Comcast Business. While freelancing as a writer for Scorch, I was an integral part of the agency's effort to bring on Microsoft as a core client. Following that milestone, I was hired to build a Content Writing department within the agency. I served as Content Marketing Director, writing core content for a variety of tech brands, hiring a team of talented content writers, managing all content campaigns and internal agency content needs.

I began freelancing in 2004, creating and managing owned and shared media platforms for both B2B and B2C clients. I wrote copy for everything from corporate blog posts to industry magazine articles, website content, e-books, and video scripts. My feature articles, essays, prose and poetry have been published in both regional and national magazines including Woman's World, Sasee, Your Teen, Porsche Panorama, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Well Versed (2014 Writer's Guild anthology).

I managed the creation, planning and execution of marketing initiatives that worked to build brand awareness and drive sales: Sweepstakes, contests, VIP events, loyalty programs, mobile tours and targeted promotions. My expertise was in creating unique, integrated promotions that met brand objectives and exceeded client expectations. I also launched the agency's online content initiative, creating an industry blog for agencies and marketing professionals, and managed our social media presence across all platforms. This led to the engagement of client social programs and content campaigns.
