I am an experienced communications leader, who has a passion for storytelling. I enjoy turning complex information into a compelling narrative. I also enjoy empowering the people around me to tell great stories. I have done this in several organizations, on content development teams I lead, with peers and at the executive level. Some of my most rewarding career experiences have come from formally and informally coaching other storytellers as they develop in their careers.The best story remains untold if it doesn’t reach the right audience through the right channel. In addition to teaching people at all organizational levels how to tell stories, I also teach them how to reach their audiences. I have spent the past several years training cross-functional teams and executives on social media best practices, optimization and measurement.Work is just part of a person’s story. The other part of my story comes from being a foster mom and foster care advocate. I am always happy to answer questions about this experience and chat about the big and small ways we can all help great kids who need our support.
