I was promoted to this role to lead the propulsion portfolio plan for future products in China and to secure an agreement with SAIC-GM on strategy and planning. I lead a team of four direct reports and have indirect oversight of 12 support professional tasked with plan development, CAFC compliance and compliance tracking across the China portfolio for engines, transmissions, 48v hybrid systems and electric vehicles. As a Designing Engineer for Concept Vehicles, I directed the design, procurement and packaging of core powertrain components and prototype powertrains and other integration parts for the Cadillac Provoq and Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. I also established performance requirements for concept vehicles and ensured vehicle’s ability to drive onto Auto Show Stage. >The outstanding feedback I received led to the adoption of the prototype into the production program in the 2014 Corvette Stingray.
