Helping people reach their purpose and goals in life is also my purpose and goal. Throughout my career I have had opportunities to fulfill this mission. As a human resource professional my days are filled with mentoring and training others for excellence. Allowing my team to grow in knowledge and skill is a win win for both myself and the internal customers we serve. Effective communication and collaboration with my management teams have paved the way to our joint success. Since being established in 2010 I have been actively involved with the Greater Houston Business Leadership Network as the board secretary. The purpose of this business to business organization is to Cultivate and promote employers knowledge of the benefits of hiring qualified individuals with disabilities. I recently joined the Whataburger Family where I recruit talent at the Team Member, Manager, Area Managers and Director of Operations level. Whataburger has been a perfect professional and cultural fit for me. As a leader in the quick service restaurant industry, Whataburger continues to grow and fulfill the vision of it's founder Harmon Dobson. Our multigenerational family owned company seeks everyday to deliver Pride, Care and Love to the family members we employ, as well as the customers we serve. Our Company culture sets us apart from our competitors which makes speaking about our Mission and Vision a joy when I am recruiting the best talent in the industry.In my private life I continue to pursue my passion for people inspiring others to believe and hope for a better future through personal ministry. For over 13 years Champion Ministries has reached out with the Love of God both internationally and in our own back yard. While primarily focused on widows, single mothers and orphans, my heart reaches out to anyone in need of a touch from Him.
