I am a hardworking, dedicated professional with a passion for helping others develop their careers, higher education, and the development of organizations. It is my belief that the only excuse not to go to college is "I don't want to go"; anything else I can work with you to overcome. This also applies to achieving other goals in life. My strengths as a professional include analytical and strategic thinking, active learning, the ability to ask questions, positive leadership, mentoring, and old fashioned hard work. These strengths have lead me to become a leader in my profession and have allowed me to achieve goals for myself and my employers. In recent years, I have been nominated and selected as Arkansas Adult Education Success Story. I have also co-written a $1.1million U.S. Department of Education grant which was funded. I was selected as a member of LeadershipBatesville Class of 2016. Even more recently I have taken over the role as unofficial "funding formula guru" for the state of Arkansas Higher Education. These achievements have not been made by myself alone, however. Every goal met and award received is due to the hard work of a dedicated team, the guidance of amazing mentors, and the support of family and friends.Family, faith, and education are the center of who I am.
