Betsy's Special Needs Services, is a non profit small business that just began in 2019, after COVID appeared in our lives. Since then, Betsy's Special Needs Services, has been offering her services to NDIS individuals and their families to meet their daily goals.Betsy's Special Needs Services, also provides respite to NDIS participants; while parents are busy working and/or socializing with families and friends.Betsy has a very well knowledge in manual handling [hoist transfer], basic Auslan Sign Auslan Sign language including in other allied health areas such as general hygiene, catheter hygiene, peg feeding, speech therapy assistance and OT assistance.

Build and maintained relationships with participants living with disabilities, their families, and the broad community. Promoted inclusion and accessibility, and ensuring that participants had a voice in a positive decision-making. Advocating for the needs of participants at all levels of government and non-government. Building relationships with key stakeholders, providers, employers and community groups, easing awareness of disability issues and promoting inclusion.

Provided a range of academic services support helping participants with a range of disabilities to achieve their academic goals and skill training. Including, supporting participants with their Augmentative Alternative Communication Auslan Sign Language (ASL) Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy assistance and training to support worker with manual handling, peg feeding and nursing care.
