Responsible for creating and implementing the strategic vision and annual plan for Bookmarks' events and the Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors. Works with the Bookstore General Manager to create an annual plan for the Bookstore that achieves the strategic goals outlined in the Bookmarks strategic plan. Responsible for managing the staff leads for each program or event and ensuring that they operate within their respective budgets while meeting their departmental goals and objectives. Integral to the role is designing and implementing prorams that ensure the mission of Bookmarks is achieved.

Bookmarks is a literary arts organization that fosters a love of reading and writing in the community. Our programming connects readers and authors and includes: an annual Festival of Books, an Authors in Schools program, and year-round events in our community gathering space and nonprofit independent bookstore.

Create and analyze statistical reports; evaluate, plan and implement system-wide library projects; document processes and procedures and provide training and support to librarians and library staff while maintaining roles and responsibilities as Campus Librarian.

Manage all duties essential to running an academic library: Supervise and train library staff, coordination collection development, conduct library orientation and instruction, answer reference questions, and serve on University Librarians Council.
