Coordinated art exhibit for New York State Branches at Bayard Cutting Arboretum; sponsored poetry writing contest for high school students and held an award ceremony for winners at the Farmingale Library; conducted an outreach to discover talented professional women writers, scuptors, artists and musicians and raised funds for scholarships for worthy.

I was asked to create an art gallery at the Polytechnic University and design a method for hanging paintings, exhibiting sculptures and illuminating the art. Then I invited talented artists to exhibit their art. There were many group and individual exhibits that were designed to enrich the cultural experience of the students attending the University..

As president of the Lionesses we provided information to the public,raised funds to train and provide seeing eye guide dogs, suppliedeyeglasses for those who needed and could not afford them, set up instruction for members who would learn to prepare Braille manuscripts.
