Provide high level assistance to the CEO and President of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. Heavy emphasis on scheduling meetings with members of the executive committee and board of directors. Organized monthly meetings, including meals, meeting materials, set-up/tear-down, minutes and PowerPoint presentations. Managed mailing lists and label creation for large monthly mailings. Utilized Outlook to manage meeting attendance and Eventbrite to manage events attended by more than 400 guests. Met with venue event managers, reviewed contracts, planned menus, event layouts and AV. Heavy use of e-mail communications to internal and external audiences. Monthly expense and mileage reports.

Responsible for planning events, scheduling meetings, and managing travel and conference schedules for the CEO, President and other team members. Duties include monthly expense reports, preparation of excel spreadsheets, typing and editing documents and a variety of other tasks as assigned.

* Directed the annual Mardi Gras Gala and Auction, a premier event attended by more than 700 guests that raises funding for scholarships. Manage budgets, and supervise and train over 100 volunteers. In 2014 net revenue exceeded $480,000, an increase of $130,000 over 2013 revenue.* Planned and implemented annual campaign and community-building events with guest-counts ranging from 20 to more than 700 for a variety of Ursuline constituencies. Manage budgets, track expenses and direct event volunteers. * Mentored two students who establish Ursuline Students Support Scholarships (USSS), a volunteer organization to raise awareness and assist with Mardi Gras. USSS had 20 members in 2014.* Implemented a scholarship stewardship program that has resulted in increased donations and stronger bonds between donors and student recipients. In November 2013, 175 students corresponded with 130 donors. Since 2009, these efforts have influenced donors to add to existing endowments and create 15 new endowed scholarships, including three in 2014.

• Established the university’s first scholarship stewardship program that involved written communications and planning events for donors to meet scholarship recipients. • Prepared stewardship reports for scholarships, professorships and other restricted funds. Wrote personalized gift acknowledgements for the university president and vice president of advancement.• Met with donors to accept gifts and finalize gift agreements. Coordinated selection of scholarship recipients with the director of Financial Aid, college deans, and department heads. • Communicated frequently with deans and department chairs to provide information about new gifts. Audited use of donations to ensure conformity to donor intent.• Coordinated volunteers for parent and senior class giving programs and instituted an alumni brick pavers program in conjunction with a capital campaign.
