* Deep expertise in legal advocacy, policy analysis, and legislative advocacy in state and federal programs for low income disabled individuals and older adults.* Extensive experience in assisting low income older adults to age in place by helping to identify and access the benefits, services, and supports they need to do so. This work involves engaging in housing advocacy and healthcare advocacy in matters involving MassHealth; Medicare; long term services and supports; services for dual eligible beneficiaries; long term care; access to behavioral health services; home and community based waivers; PACE programs; One Care; SCO's; nursing home issues including quality of care and discharges; and advanced directives.*Lead project management on critical policy initiatives to state agencies including the Executive Office of Health and Human Services; the Executive Office of Elder Affairs; the Office of MassHealth; and the Department of Mental Health.* Created and directed the Elder Abuse Prevention Project of Greater Boston Legal Services. Developed five community based elder abuse prevention organizations, each composed of local government agencies, healthcare entities, aging network providers, and other community based partners. Created and disseminated culturally and linguistically appropriate training and educational materials which simplified often complex issues for older adults and care providers.
