Lead designer Los Angeles native veteran accessories designer, Betsi Wilson, found herself drawing silhouettes in the sand after the birth of her daughter, Samantha. A self-pronounced blanket snob, Betsi set out to create what she couldn’t find for Sam - a fashion forward baby blanket with pizzazz. As if this weren't enough, she dreamed up a brilliant built-in pocket to solve the age old problem of "pacifier purgatory". Soon these high-end pocket blankets were requested by friends, expected at baby showers, and seen in the hands of celebrities. Betsi's sister, Tori Burak, co-launched Luv My Woobie Inc. in 2007 with the intention of bringing to market the ultimate plush utility woobie pocket blanket that would outlast your washing machine.

Created accessories such as backpacks, wallets, purses, wallets, belts etc. for Tilly's, Hot Topic, Pac Sun, Sugar etc. Worked from A-Z Design conception to sample approval to getting product made in China and going through customs in the port of LA. Worked numerous trade shows and designed new seasonal collections 2x year for the Magic Trade show in Las Vegas, NV.

Duties included assisting the National Sales Manager and in-house sales representative & trade show/sales coordinator➢ Responsible for retrieving website and e-mail inquiries➢ Critique and supervise reps and their accounts➢ Train new people in the sales department➢ Provide competitive summary reports bi-monthly➢ Assist in organizing trade shows and promotions
