After approximately 20 years in the legal field as a forensic linguist, I'm pivoting to focus on communication, technical writing, and information management in the energy storage industry. I am applying my expertise as a "text as evidence"​ expert in a slightly different capacity. Same skills, different industry with different objectives. Over the past two decades, I've been studying, assessing, and investigating the business communications of Fortune 500 companies. I have researched literally millions of words, phrases, and text types, focusing on how patterns of linguistic behavior overlap with key content and ideas represented in large collections of unstructured text.
