INTERSECTION. This is where I thrive. I sit at the crossroads between technical, structure, logic, & art, creativity, and chaos. I flow between the right and left brain activities with ease. Uniquely I can whisper to many different personalities and help them connect with others. I am the intersection of your project….ready to navigate every intersection until it crosses the threshold to completion. Every intersection in my life has allowed me to hone and gather the necessary skills of a successfully Project Manager:I chose Mechanical Engineering because I desired to create and I have a genuine love of technical learning. My Engineering jobs at Ford Motor Company and Caterpillar were wonderful experiences that helped me get acquainted with modern business practices and learn about technical design and the life cycle of projects. I am going to slay the Elephant in the room for my next contrarian pivot. I chose to stay home and educate my children. This was the beginning of the best of me. Only self-starters attempt this. I discovered that I am good at coordinating schedules, project planning, maximizing efficiency, problem-solving & decision making, understanding different learning styles, researching the best or unorthodox ways to approach anything and everything. Here is where the foundation of my Project Management mindset began. During this time I also started my own creative business. It was a counterbalance to the rest of what I was doing and a launchpad for continued growth into many areas of business and marketing. January 2020 I launched Inceptus Cor, an e-commerce private label business. I could have never imagined the journey it would take me on…when you are doing risk analysis who thinks of COVID? Lastly, I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. Yes, I love to choke my friends out. This lifestyle has a corollary in every positive aspect of my life.
