About Betsy Cespedes

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?”’ Martin Luther King Jr. spoke these words in Montgomery, Alabama in 1957 and these words still ring true today. For the past 13 years, every day I seek to live by these words. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have the education, training, and opportunities to be in a position to “do for others”. Hi, my name is Betsy Cespedes and I am a human service professional with expertise in data analysis and investigations. I have excelled for over 13 years in the social services and law enforcement communities, specializing in internal and external investigations, intervention services, and statistical social work. My personal and professional development has given me the following insight about myself:► I am an astute decision maker, independent thinker, and can manage multiple cases at once.► I consistently train and motivate myself to be a better person.► I work well with a team, whether it be delivering coaching and intervention services or conducting an audit or working a case in loss prevention or preventive services.► I am able to train others, coach and counsel, and make rapid, crucial decisions.Through my extensive experience in social work, working with children and families, and conducting investigations and working in loss prevention and security, I have learned that even the smallest role each one of us plays is integral in the bigger picture – the most important part is finding what we will do for others to make this world a better place.
