What I liked best about this job was that I was thrown into fire. I had to learn the job on the fly. I didn't know anything about life insurance when I was hired. I learned a lot about life insurance and learned how to use the tool to assist the brokers with managing their client's insurance policy. That was my favorite part of the job.

As a client services representative I assist the Wealth Management Advisors in helping to maintain office management and act as a liaison between the Advisors and the clientele. I really enjoy the client interaction and being a part in maintaining the organization in the office. The Staff at FMB Advisors are a great bunch to work with! This is a dream job for me!

I had so much fun working at Arhaus! It was really hard for me to leave that job. But what I learned about retail is that the hours were hard on my young family. I really enjoyed the creative and social aspect to the job. Perhaps one day I will seek to return to Arhaus.

2012-2014 Swim Team Coordinator, WSTCMy biggest achievement as Swim Mom has been setting up and running the web based on-line registration. I was aggressive in keeping clear financial records and was asked by the pool to be the financial liaison between the board and swim/dive the following year. Other responsibilities included organizing teams of volunteers, hiring coaches, facilitate communications and insure everything was in place for the meets to run smoothly.2012-2014 Cookie Co-Coordinator, Girl Scout TroopMy responsibility was to collect total cookie sales from each girl in our troop, log into the Girl Scout cookie website, schedule pick up time. Pick up and distribute cookies to each of the girls.2012-2014 Book Fair Chairperson, Austin Elementary PTA My job running the book fair was to orchestrate programs that coincided with the fair such as raising money for underprivileged readers, donations for the classrooms and advertising the event. I set up a team and oversaw the art work, financial book keeping and communications. During the fair I trained and assisted the volunteers.2012-2014 Neighborhood Association Chair, NOW (Neighbors of Wyntercreek)When I was first elected onto the NOW board, I came on as President. My first mission was to start a neighborhood web page to which I enlisted a friend to help set up. The following years I moved into the secretary position which required less of my time but still enabled me to be involved with the neighborhood decisions and happenings.2011-2012 Yearbook Committee Chair, DUMC PreschoolMy first year on the yearbook committee I collected the photos taken by the other committee members, selected the best picks, organized and turned over to the editing chair. The second year I elected to be one of the photographers.

1990-2003 Visual Effects Artist, Film IndustryFrom the time I entered the professional world I started out in an entry level position at a small television studio. From there I worked my up, taking on more challenging jobs and teaching myself what I needed to know to move on to the next level. I ended up in California working in the visual effects industry as a visual effects artist for major motion pictures.As a VFX Artist/Compositor, my responsibility was to create a believable scene by layering moving images, using the computer software provided by the visual effects house I worked for at the time. Sometimes the images were effects shot on set, 3-D computer generated images, stock images or tricks I would do utilizing the software package I worked with.
