About Betsy Davies

Currently serving as the Operations Manager at the Idaho Technology Council and the proud Microsoft TechSpark Fellow for the State of Idaho. With a strong background in business operations and financial management, I have demonstrated leadership in various roles, including establishing operations, implementing technology solutions, managing large-scale events, and overseeing significant grant funding.I have a rich history of expanding programs, increasing revenue, and collaborating effectively with various stakeholders. My journey began with earning my HSE/GED from Boise State University in 1997, followed by studies in political science at BSU, and further education through the College of Western Idaho and Southern New Hampshire University Online Programs.In my current role at the Idaho Technology Council, I focus on driving innovation and fostering economic growth within the tech community. As the Microsoft TechSpark Fellow, I am dedicated to enhancing digital inclusion and creating economic opportunities across Idaho. This fellowship has allowed me to work closely with Microsoft and other community leaders to bring cutting-edge technology and resources to our state.Previously, I served as the Executive Director of Idaho Women for Education, where I established business operations and developed services using my extensive experience in grant accounting and financial compliance. I also held the position of Grant Administrator at the Idaho Hispanic Foundation, where I prepared and administered technical accounting and budgeting records for various grants.Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my leadership and contributions, including receiving the Chairman’s Award of Excellence and being named one of the Top 50 Women of the Year. I am also a proud graduate and program lead of Leadership Meridian.I am passionate about leveraging technology to create positive change and am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals.
