Betsy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master's in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. With 17 years of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist, she has worked across a wide range of settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, and homes.In 2002, Betsy founded Handprints Home Health with a vision to bring together Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and Speech Therapists (STs) to offer a collaborative, holistic approach to home health therapy. This innovative model helped families receive integrated care for their children, while focusing on their individual needs.In 2017, Betsy expanded the mission by introducing Handprints Behavioral Therapy, which added another layer of comprehensive support for clients, addressing applied behavior analysis alongside therapy services.Today, Handprints Therapies provides a full range of therapies—behavioral, speech, physical, and occupational—delivered in a naturalistic center designed to help children develop the skills they need to thrive in the world. Our interdisciplinary team is dedicated to supporting each child’s unique journey with care, compassion, and expertise.
