Assisting at the Fikrig Lab at the Yale Medical School with tick-borne disease immunization research. I assisted with coding tick salivary protein candidates for a tick vaccine using an mRNA platform. I screened human serum for immuno reactivity towards recombinant salivary proteins by ELISA. I also assisted in DNA extraction and sequencing and microscopy for detecting Borrelia burgdorferi.
