As a member of Habitat Chicago's Leadership Team, I led a team of 12 development and communications staff that raised $5.5M in FY24. Fundraising strategies included annual giving; major gifts; corporate, foundation and government relations; special events; and marketing/communications. I oversaw and coached the Board's Resource Leadership Committee to reach their annual fundraising and engagement goals. I collaborated with the Leadership Team to establish and monitor organizational revenue and expenses to maintain healthy cash flow and financial sustainability. I oversaw and provided strategic direction for our four-year capital campaign, and acted as a primary donor-facing solicitor and ambassador.

Collaborated with program staff, leadership, and the Donor & Community Relations department to develop proposal concept and content. Proposal topics included: HIV prevention, mental health, substance abuse prevention and treatment, health insurance enrollment, workforce development, refugee and immigrant services, supportive services for public housing residents, asset building, domestic and sexual violence recovery, freedom from trafficking, vulnerable youth, and travelers aid at O'Hare International Airport. Conducted prospect research on new and existing institutional funding sources and made recommendations for future cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies. Coordinated quality management initiatives, including CARF accreditation and health/safety trainings. Led program teams in strategic planning, as well as agency-wide youth-specific strategic planning.
