I work as an associate editor of Catholic Health World, one of the Catholic Health Association's two publications for an audience of health care executives, mission leaders, physicians and other health care professionals. I frequently interview chief executives and other health system senior leadership for business stories about the rapidly changing health care environment. I write feature stories related to trends and personalities in health care. I seek out multimedia components, working with CHA's web team, for additional online features.My job allows for national travel to visit our member hospitals and to report stories from the field.I am one of three editors who copy edit our publication and assist with editing copy from freelancers.

I served as the assistant editor and staff writer for Maryville Magazine, the university's magazine. I was the editor of The Clocktower, a monthly e-newsletter for alumni and friends of Maryville University. I worked on external media strategy, writing news releases, pitching stories and updating the university's website. I also produced content for the university's Facebook page, which had a significant increase in traffic as a result.

I reported and wrote for several publications, including work for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The St. Louis Jewish Light, Catholic Health World and St. Louis Commerce magazine. I covered issues related to technology, health care, religion and more. I was also a regular book reviewer for the Post-Dispatch.

I was frequently tapped to "run the desk," or coordinate and edit the day's news coverage from St. Louis.I wrote stories and broadcast scripts while working as a general assignment reporter.

I covered news in north St. Louis and north St. Louis County. I served as a copy editor, working with reporters and designers to improve zoned sections of the newspaper. I coordinated photo shoots and wrote feature stories as the newspaper's fashion writer. I reviewed fiction and non-fiction for the Sunday newspaper, which sold about 360,000 copies weekly.
