I have spent the last 30 years volunteering in various community organizations. I am a 2 time past president of a Lioness Club and a former Girl Scout leader. I have been the coordinator of a very successful inter-denominational Vacation Bible School, which included coordinating volunteers from different churches. I have been a high school Sunday School teacher. Serving 2 terms as Treasurer of our Church Council, for 4 years I successfully managed our finances with occasionally limited resources. I have served 2 terms as Vice President of the Blue and Gold Band Booster Club (Fort Mill HS Marching Band) responsible for fund raising and met or exceeded our fund raising budget goal of $100,000 for each term. I also served as President for the Fort Mill High School Choral Boosters Club and established a fund raising program for that organization. In all of these positions the coordination, scheduling and managing of 50 to 100 volunteers was essential to successfully reaching our goals.
