About Betsy Hill
These days I describe myself as a neuroeducator as well as a business leader. For the last decade (+), I have studied the application of neuroscience to learning and teaching with Dr. Patricia Wolfe and other experts. That knowledge and my teaching experience inform the work I do with schools, clinicians and parents – from developing and selecting the products and services we offer at BrainWare Learning Company, to the professional development programs I provide, to my own classroom teaching in the MBA program at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.I believe that understanding how the brain learns is fundamental to effective learning and teaching. I also am convinced that it is the missing piece in addressing some of the most perplexing problems in education, including closing the gap for historically underperforming students.At BrainWare Learning Company, we envision a world in which every individual, child and adult, can develop his or her cognitive capacity to learn and think to optimize their success in academics and in life.
