Hi, I'm Betsy! I am a Christ-hearted Motivational Speaker, Life Coach and Belief Up Mentor. I specialize in guiding people to replace negativity and doubt with light, empowerment and direction to live an elevated life. The roses and daisies I exude in my smiles were crafted intentionally from darker places of learning and growth. In my mid-40's I made the incredibly difficult decision to leave my crumbling marriage, within a few weeks I learned I had cancer (not just any cancer... Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer with an INCREDIBLY low survival rate). During that time I almost died, not once, but four times. First, I almost bled out right before my treatment, second right after chemo my body wouldn’t process magnesium and it felt like I was having a heart attack, third I almost bled out again, and THEN fourth… I got sepsis. During those horrible awful times I had literally had every right to throw the bedpan against the wall, scream, or completely give up on life, but yet I chose to remain positive and hopeful throughout this wonderfully terrible (and terribly wonderful) journey called life!I learned through it all that we can’t control what happens to us (and sometimes what happens to us STINKS), but we can choose how we react to it… We can always choose JOY! When we choose joy and GRATITUDE we realize that our circumstances do not define us, they don’t control us. We realize that we are stronger than any force of darkness because we have a Savior with us at every step. These principles, these gems, that I have to share with you are so principles that you can act on NOW!
