Wealth Management Credit Review Specialist

As the managing director, I led all aspects of the execution of the strategic vision of the non-profit creating a talent pipeline for Hartfiel while serving the community. To do this, I administered the donor advised fund that was matched by employee contribution and report directly to the CEO and COO. My ability to establish connections with people led to a number of opportunities for growth while creating a culture of employee engagement. In this role, I frequently collaborated with colleagues and community leaders to build a sustainable program intending to provide practical training for jobs that were difficult to fill while also helping people build careers. To do this, I managed all aspects of finance, human resources, contracts, operations, marketing, and sales to help build the foundation while serving its purpose within the community.

As the Credit Manager, I manged a team of three direct reports with responsibility for enterprise credit decisioning for over 7,000 customers. To do this, I designed a proactive credit culture enabling early credit decisioning while aligning sales with risk management strategies to support sustainable relationships and growth. I also continuously monitored performance using KPI metrics with demonstrated ability to take effective action to minimize risk exposure while engaging key stakeholders. This required me to drive enterprise wide credit polices within the organization based on changing regulations, economic trends and various market factors.Despite these successes, my role was restructured and the responsibilities were rolled down to the respective location managers. As a result, I am now actively looking for the right role/organization that enables me to leverage my demonstrated business strategy and relationship driven operational skills.A few achievements in this role include:Hire, train, and manage 5 direct reports with responsibility for over 7,000 customers throughout the US and Canada.Reduce receivables 90+ days from 20% of 45 Million to less than 1% of 120+ million by building out and consistently executing all internal controls and credit processes.Maintained adherence to proactive credit processes throughout the organization eliminating the need for AR insurance, saving over 100K annually.Redesigned credit department resulting in expense reduction of over 63K annually.Managed credit processes that maintained a 97% collection rate beating the industry standard of 86%.Improved cash flow by reducing the average days to pay by 17% while increasing credit limits and risk criteria.Outsourced credit services for 4 years to a client ,streaming the equivalent of 200K in annual sales.

As the senior credit analyst, I analyzed credit applications and engaged in due diligence to approve new customers. In this role, I developed the logistics and credit procedures to create standardization of client on-boarding while working with a team to monitor credit performance of existing customers. This required me to maintain relationships with customers while also engaging the key stakeholders in the business to ensure that sales aligned consistently with operational expectations.

As the credit analyst, I managed receivables and undertook collection actions as appropriate. I also regularly made credit decisions based on credit risk after performing comprehensive analysis of financial statements, credit information and qualitative factors. To do this, I defined credit risk parameters to manage exposure with clients against associated risk. I also performed ongoing monitoring of existing customers based on periodic review of financial information, credit bureau information, and other risk factors.
